Serbs and ethnic Albanians meet in Brussels on Sunday for a second round of talks over the future of the disputed province of Kosovo. Another round of talks is to be held in Vienna next weekend.

Kosovo’s ethnic Albanians have threatened to unilaterally declare independence if no agreement is reached.

So, could they go ahead with their threat? What would the implications of such a move be? Could the UN plan be any solution to the conflict?
