Husni Mubarak and the media

Some 23 Egyptian independent and opposition newspapers have ceased publishing for the day on Sunday to protest verdicts passed against a number of journalists. It’s the latest in series of confrontations Husni Mubarak’s regime has been involved in throughout this year.

Some critics say that the move represents an attempt to quash discussion about the so-called inheritance of the presidency.

So, is inheritance the keyword in the current stand off?  What will the outcome be?
