Twenty-three-year-old Navya lives on the outskirts of Bangalore with her father, mother and grandmother. An excellent student, she had won a scholarship to study business management at a local college.
Navya is struggling with a failed kidney. She has kept her spirits up and remains optimistic even though she must undergo dialysis three times a week – an expensive prospect for Navya, since it costs $20 per session.
