The attacks in Mumbai have been described as India’s 9/11. On Wednesday, thousands of people demonstrated in the city and Condoleezza Rice, the US secretary of state, has flown into the region to try to ease tensions between India and Pakistan.

On this week’s programme, Sir David talks to Rudy Giuliani, the former major of New York, who was on the frontline of terrorism seven years ago, when the Twin Towers of New York’s World Trade Center were brought down by a pair of hijacked airliners.
