Coronavirus: Exploring Ground Zero

Two Pakistani students stuck in Wuhan show us around the city where the coronavirus outbreak began.

Saher and Mehar Khan are two Pakistani sisters who live and study in the Chinese city of Wuhan, the epicentre of the coronavirus outbreak.

The sisters left their dorm room for the first time in a week, wearing gloves and masks and filming the trip for their YouTube channel. They found the streets empty but not completely devoid of life.

Wuhan had been sealed off by Chinese authorities in an attempt to contain the virus.

The city is an education hub with more than 30 colleges and universities that attract students from all around the world.
