Inside Story

What next for Theresa May and Brexit?

Theresa May flew to Berlin after postponing a Westminster vote on the deal to leave the EU.

Deal or no deal?

That’s the question dividing Britons as Prime Minister Theresa May fights it out both in Parliament in London and with the European Parliament in Brussels.

She postponed Monday’s planned vote by British MPs to say “yes” or “no” to the Brexit deal.

Instead, she flew to the Netherlands and Germany hoping to win last-minute concessions.

But the door was quickly slammed shut – the message from the European Commision is: “There’s absolutely no room for renegotiation.”
