As the US marks the 14th anniversary of the September 11 attacks, American-Muslims and others are sharing their experiences in the aftermath, using #AfterSeptember11. Many say they faced discrimination and harassment due to their background and appearance.
The hashtag’s creator, Jess Talwar, started the discussion with a story of her father trying to avoid being profiled after the attacks.
