Filmmaker: Noah Goodrich

The World Bog Snorkelling Championships are held over the August Bank Holiday weekend deep in rural Wales. The event, competed in by hundreds from all over the world, involves competitors snorkelling down a mud-filled bog as fast as they can. The use of arms is forbidden and those wearing fancy dress are only required to do one length of the bog.

The bizarre event has gathered a large worldwide media following and has become increasingly popular over the years with local residents and spectators.
