Opposition: Myanmar vote is unfair

Myanmar is holding its first elections in two decades but the opposition condemn them as unfair and restrictive.

On November 7, Myanmar will hold its first elections in 20 years.

The US and the UN are calling on the regime to make it free and fair but critics already condemn it as a rigged vote to entrench the military in power with the fig leaf of inclusive democracy.

With international journalist’s access to Myanmar restricted in the lead up to the poll, filmmaker Evan Williams has remotely directed hidden cameras from inside the country to show how the country is preparing for the polls.
