Crowds celebrate Obama inauguration
An estimated two million people were in the US capital, Washington DC, to attend the historic presidential inauguration of Barack Obama.

Supporters from around the country and the world gathered on the National Mall in Washington, DC to watch Obama be sworn in.
Obama is the first African-American president in the history of the US.
Freezing temperatures did not deter supporters from attending the inauguration.
The US capital was a sea of American flags for the occasion.
Emotions ran high throughout the inauguration as Obama said he was "humbled by the task before us".
