Anti-ISIL TV station gains ground in Iraq

ISIL has often used the media to spread its message but now one TV station is telling viewers the group can be defeated.

    Videos showing beheadings of journalists and aid workers by the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) are spreading fear in Iraq, Syria and beyond.

    However, ISIL is not the only group using the media as a weapon of war, with one anti-ISIL TV station also gaining ground in Iraq.

    Al Jazeera's Charles Stratford reports from northern Iraq.
