Egypt children ‘held in adult prisons’

More than 140 children arrested during anti-coup protests last month have been detained in adult jails.

More than 140 children who have been detained in Egypt over the last few months have reportedly been held in adult prisons.

Lawyers say most of them were arrested when security forces stormed anti-coup demonstrations last month.

Al Jazeera’s correspondent,  who we are not naming for security reasons, reports from Cairo.
