New leader for Syrian opposition coalition

Mouaz al-Khatib, an activist and an imam, to lead the Syrian National Coalition for Opposition and Revolutionary Forces.

    Following days of talks in Qatar, Syria's opposition groups have united and formed a new coalition to fight President Bashar al-Assad.

    Mouaz al-Khatib, an activist and an imam, was been chosen to head of the umbrella organisation - the Syrian National Coalition.
