Iraq hit by deadly attacks

    At least 74 people are reported to have been killed and hundreds more injured in a series of bombings and armed attacks across Iraq in one of the deadliest waves of violence this year.

    There are fears of more attacks as the political crisis over the formation of a new government continues.
