Israel kills Palestinian cousins

Fatal shooting brings to four number of Palestinians killed by army in 24 hours.

    Two Palestinian cousins have been killed at a military checkpoint in the village of Awarta, southeast of Nablus, bringing to four the number of Palestinians killed by the Israeli army in 24 hours.

    The Israeli army says the young men attempted to stab soldiers on regular patrol near their village.

    The families say the victims were looking for scrap metal when they were shot.

    Nour Odeh reports from Awarta.
