As World Diabetes Day approaches, latest figures from Iran show that some 5 million people in the Islamic republic aged between 15 and 65 have been diagnosed with the condition.
Al Jazeera’s Dorsa Jabbari finds out what the government in Tehran is doing to raise awareness and help those suffering for the blood sugar disorder.
