Iran grants French student bail

Clotilde Reiss released on bail after being detained on spying charges.

    Reiss was in Iran teaching in Isfahan.

    Sarkozy thanked the European Union and allies, specifically Syria, for their help in obtaining Reiss's release from jail.

    He also mentioned Syria after embassy employee Nazak Afshar, a French-Iranian, was freed from jail last week.
