Israel frees Palestinian minister

An Israeli military court orders the release of an arrested Palestinian minister.

    Israeli troops have seized scores of elected Palestinian officials


    Of the more than 60 Palestinian ministers and MPs rounded up by Israel, 30 remain in custody.

     

    On September 12, an Israeli military court decided to release 21 of them but their release has been delayed to an unknown date following an appeal by the army's prosecution.
