Sochi games are 'a display of soft power'

Some consider the Winter Olympics in Sochi a showcase of what Russia can achieve despite security concerns and costs.

    Analysts say the Winter Olympics in Sochi is a display of Russia's "soft power". 

    The run-up to the games was plagued with security concerns and criticism over the massive cost to the Russia economy. But many consider the games a showcase of modern Russia, and all it can achieve.
