    A deal to extend the lease of a Russian naval base has triggered chaos in Ukraine's parliament.

    Smoke bombs, eggs and punches were thrown as anger spilled over in the chamber.

    Members of the opposition denounced the move as a sell-out which undermines Ukraine's sovereignty.
