Rescue efforts in quake-hit Turkey

Emergency personnel race to save those trapped under rubble in eastern province of Elazig.

    Emergency personnel are scrambling to rescue people trapped under rubble in Turkey after a 6.0-magnitude earthquake struck the eastern province of Elazig.

    The initial quake was followed by more than 20 aftershocks, killing scores and destroying buildings across numerous towns in the region.

    Al Jazeera's Tarek Bazley reports from Elazig.
