Elderly citizens forced to survive on as little as $6 a day.

    In Russia, pensioners have long been respected for their role in the Soviet Union's campaign during the second World War.
     
    But the end of Communism also signalled the end of some of their benefits, and now many have fallen on hard times with some surviving on less than $6 a day.
