At least 37 people killed in drug rehabilitation centre with poor safety record.

    At least 37 people have perished in a fire at a drug rehabilitation centre in Kazakhstan.

    The government has ruled out the possibility of arson, but suspicions were raised over the incident at the centre, which apparently has a history of safety violations.

    Robin Forestier-Walker reports from Taldykorgan.
