Multiple blasts hit Turkish port

    A police spokesman said: "There is one dead and three injured. Fire squads and ambulances are present at the scene."
    Earlier, a percussion device exploded in a rubbish bin in front of a shopping centre in the Buca district, injuring two people, one of them seriously.
    On Monday, General Yasar Buyukanit, the head of Turkey's army, said there would be no respite in the decades-long struggle against Kurdish separatists in a conflict that has cost more than 30,000 lives.
