Afghan forces face intelligence challenges

As foreign forces in Afghanistan step back from combat roles, Afghan soldiers are increasingly taking over security responsibilities.
 
But in the prolonged conflict with Taliban fighters, there are still numerous challenges facing the country’s most elite security forces, including obtaining crucial intelligence through advanced surveillance systems that they lack, as NATO prepares to withdraw.
