    Building up Afghanistan's security forces is one of the priorities of US President Barack Obama's new Afghan strategy.

    Speaking to his officers in the Afghan city of Kandahar on Wednesday, General Stanley McChrystal said the extra troops will provide a show of force that will "change everything".
