General debriefs troops on new plan

McChrystal debriefs troops on Obama's new Afghan plan in the Afghan city of Kandahar.



    Building up Afghanistan's security forces is one of the priorities of US President Barack Obama's new Afghan strategy.

    Speaking to his officers in the Afghan city of Kandahar on Wednesday, General Stanley McChrystal said the extra troops will provide a show of force that will "change everything".

    Al Jazeera's Clayton Swisher has more on the message delivered to US troops by their top commander in Afghanistan.
