Deadly bombings strike Afghanistan

Four Nato soldiers among seven dead in string of bomb attacks.

    In a separate incident, a suicide bomber killed two Afghan civilians in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, interior ministry officials said.

    At least 14 others were wounded in the blast.

    Earlier, a bomb exploded in the southern city of Kandahar as the city's mayor drove past, Afghan police said.

    The blast killed one civilian and wounded at least two others.

    The mayor was unharmed in the attack.
