Many dead in Pakistan blast

The motive of the blast is unknown.

    The area has seen numerous sectarian clashes

    But another security official said up to 20 people were feared dead, 

    The blast had happened outside the office of Riaz Hussain, a local PPP  candidate

    Al Jazeera's Kamal Hyder, reporting fro Islamabad, said that the area was rife with sectarian clashes for a long time.

    He said: "The motive of the blast may or may not be linked with the election."
