Growing territorial disputes in the South China Sea will be the focus of a major security summit in Singapore.
The US defence secretary and Asian defence ministers are meeting in the city state for the pre-eminent annual Asian security conference called Shangri-La Dialogue. It is the first time China’s defence minister will be attending the conference beginning on Friday.
