Basketball star's daughter becomes focus of debate on Chinese patriotism.

    A baby girl born to Chinese basketball star Yao Ming and his wife has sparked lively debate in China about nationality.

    The baby was born in the United States, meaning she is eligible for US citizenship, but that prospect has stirred up questions among many Chinese on what it means to be patriotic.
