Mass funerals held for hundreds of victims of quake in remote Qinghai province.

Mass cremations have been held in China's western province of Qinghai for victims of last week's deadly earthquake.

Around 700 bodies were blessed by Buddhist monks, placed in a trench and set alight.

The number of people known to have died in the disaster has now risen to more than 1,400, but hundreds are still missing.
