Arroyo seeks new Philippines role

Outgoing president campaigns for seat in congress as she looks to stay in politics.

    Filipinos living abroad have started voting for the country's next leader, a month before the national vote on May 10.

    Gloria Arroyo, the Philippines incumbent president, is not up for re-election although she is contesting a congressional seat, which many see as her way of holding on to power.
