China's sensitivity over Tibet

The Dalai Lama continues autonomy calls for Tibet amid deteriorating Sino-US ties.

    China says the US has "seriously damaged" ties after President Barack Obama met the Dalai Lama at the White House.

    The Tibetan Spiritual leader told reporters after the event, that Obama had been supportive of his efforts to win autonomy for Tibet.


    In the last two years the issue become increasingly sensitive in China.
