Government announces shift in immigration policy to attract highly skilled workers.

    Australia has announced a shift in its immigration policy to attract more highly skilled workers.

    The government says the change will help fill shortages in the healthcare, engineering and mining industries.

    But the new rules will also impact the foreign student market which earns Australia billions of dollars every year.
