China envoy on Taiwan arms deal

Al Jazeera interviews China's ambassador to Qatar over the US-Taiwan arms deal.

    China has suspended military co-operation with the United States over a $6bn arms deal with Taiwan.

    It is also threatening serious repercussions over the agreement which involves both hardware and technology.

    Al Jazeera spoke to Yue Xiaoyong, the Chinese ambassador to Qatar, about what Washington's decision means for its relations with Beijing.
