UAE troubles hit Indian migrants

Collapse of Dubai construction industry means hardships for India's migrant army.

The economic crisis has hit the once rich and booming emirate of Dubai harder than most countries.

But the collapse of the real estate market there has left thousands of migrant workers without a job.

Many of them come from the Indian state of Kerala. More than two million of its residents work across the Gulf.

    Al Jazeera's Nilanjan Chowdhury reports.
