Thailand battles new Malaria strain

Experts warn of threat by drug-resistant strain of mosquito-borne disease.

    Scientists in Thailand are warning of a new drug-resistant strain of the mosquito-borne disease Malaria.
     
    The strain has been found in patients living near the Thai-Cambodian border.
     
    As Al Jazeera's Aela Callan reports from Bangkok, the researchers fear it could spread around the world.
