S Korea steps up nuke monitoring

Foreign minister says no evidence North is preparing for another test.

    Last week US television network ABC cited US officials as saying they believed North Korea was preparing to test another nuclear device.
     
    However, on a visit to the Philippines for a meeting of Asian leaders, Song Min-soon, the South Korean foreign minister said that while increased activity had been sighted near a suspected test site, there was no evidence that a test was on the cards.
