Comet-chasing probe set to wake up

Scientists hope "Rosetta" wakes up from years of hibernation to perform its mission of chasing and landing on a comet.

A European spacecraft has begun one of the most technologically advanced missions ever attempted.

The Rosetta probe was launched a decade ago on a long quest to chase down and land on a comet.

As it wakes from almost three years in hibernation, it is hoped its systems are still intact.
