US immigration bill clears first hurdle

Comprehensive immigration reform passed in Senate but has rocky road ahead in Republican-led House of Representatives.

    The US senate has approved legislation that would give millions of undocumented migrants the chance to eventually become citizens.

    But the historic legislation has a rocky road ahead in the Republican-led House of Representatives to become a law.
