Uruguay first to reach final 8

South American country makes it to World Cup quarter-finals after knocking out S Korea.

    Uruguay has become the first team to seal a place in the quarter-finals of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. 

    The South Americans beat South Korea in the first knock-out match, making them among the final eight teams to compete in the event for the first time since 1970.

    Al Jazeera's Andy Richardson reports from Port Elizabeth, the South African city hosting, the world's largest football event.
