Brazil presidential race under way

Three major candidates in fray for election in October to replace President Lula.

    Brazilians are set to take part in polls in October to elect a replacement for Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva,  the popular president who has been at the helm since 2002.  

    Three major candidates are facing off to lead Brazil into a new era and the contest promises to be a close one.
