Japanese car manufacturer's problems worsening in the US as huge recall continues.

    Japanese car giant Toyota is struggling to contain the fallout from a huge recall of its vehicles over safety concerns.

    The problem is particularly severe in its biggest market, the US, where millions of cars have been recalled for fixes to a potentially faulty accelerator pedal.
