String of major achievements in London games boosts interest in sports back home.

    Many sports mad South Africans have drawn much inspiration from the country's success in the London Olympic games. 

    South African athletes have won three gold medals and one silver in swimming and rowing. The achievements have boosted interest in sports back home.
