People in the Horn of Africa are suffering from the worst drought in more than half a century.

Among the worst hit countries is Somalia, where the situation is now threatening millions of lives.

The United Nations Children’s Fund says up to 300,000 malnourished children are at risk of dying in the country.

Aid agencies have estimated that $1bn is needed, but only a fraction has been donated so far.
