Editor’s Note: The text in this page originally showed a news story about the imposition of gender segregation in Afghanistan’s Herat province. But the Taliban Ministry for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice in a tweet has denied the ban on family gatherings and dinners in restaurants and hotels in the eastern province.
