Sudan’s Sinnar state flooding: Families find shelter in schools

The worst floods in Sudan in a century continue to displace thousands.

Heavy rain and further flooding are forecast in parts of Sudan in the coming week.

Since July, floods have ravaged nearly every single state, killing at least 115 people.

The United Nations is scaling up emergency food assistance, and hundreds of thousands are living in desperate conditions in makeshift camps.
