Gaza’s power station shuts down as Israel cuts off diesel imports

Gaza’s only power station has shut down, threatening further electricity cuts for two million Palestinians.

Israel closed the border cutting off imports of diesel which fuels the station.

The Israeli restriction is one of several in response to incendiary balloon launches and rocket fire from the besieged strip.
