Los Angeles offers free COVID-19 tests

A bleak milestone the United States is about to hit – 100,000 deaths from COVID-19.

Testing is ramping up in some areas after a slow start.

But many states’ efforts still lag behind.

At least nine of them have tested only 250 people per million residents.

Los Angeles County is one of few places offering free tests to anyone who wants.
