Trump suggests injecting disinfectant to kill coronavirus

This has prompted a warning from authorities and makers of popular cleaners that no one should ingest disinfectant.

    US President Donald Trump has used his daily briefing to float more possible ways to fight the coronavirus, including a change in seasons, and injections of disinfectant.

    But doctors are again warning about the dangers of Trump using his position to tout unproven treatments.
